1. Operator and acceptance
The Site is operated as an independent editorial publication (operator: Vatsal Shah, publishing as Business Tech Navigator). By accessing or using the Site, signing up for email updates, or submitting a contact form, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
2. Eligibility and jurisdiction
The Site is offered globally, but we make no representation that content or practices are appropriate or lawful in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with local laws. Primary operating ties are in India; disputes are subject to Section 16.
3. Licence to use the Site
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for personal or internal business purposes, subject to these terms. You may not: (a) scrape, harvest, or systematically copy content except as allowed by applicable copyright exceptions or robots.txt; (b) circumvent security; (c) overload infrastructure; (d) use the Site to distribute malware or spam; (e) misrepresent affiliation with us; (f) use automated means in a way that impairs the Site or violates robots.txt or rate limits we publish.
4. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, editorial content (text, graphics, layout, branding, logos, and compilation) is owned by the operator or licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and related laws in India and internationally. You may share links to articles; you may quote brief excerpts with attribution under fair dealing / fair use principles where applicable. Commercial republication, training of AI models on our content without permission, or removal of attribution is not permitted without prior written consent.
Trademarks and service marks referenced on the Site are property of their respective owners.
5. Editorial nature and disclaimers
Content is for general information and professional education only. It is not legal, financial, medical, or tailored professional advice. We strive for accuracy but do not warrant completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Decisions based on the Site are at your sole risk.
6. No warranty
THE SITE AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING THE INDIAN CONTRACT ACT, 1872 AND CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 2019 WHERE APPLICABLE), IN NO EVENT SHALL WE OR OUR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (TYPICALLY ZERO FOR FREE BROWSING) OR (B) INR 5,000 / USD 60 EQUIVALENT, UNLESS A MANDATORY MINIMUM APPLIES IN YOUR JURISDICTION.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent still lawful.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator and contributors from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these terms, or violation of third-party rights—except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
9. Third-party links and embeds
The Site may link to third-party websites, tools, or embeds. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.
10. Email updates and communications
Email signup is optional. By submitting your address, you consent to us storing it and using it for updates described at signup, including forwarding structured data to automation endpoints we configure (see the Privacy Policy). You may opt out using links in messages we send or by contacting us as described there. We may suspend or stop sending if addresses bounce or list rules require it.
11. Contact submissions
Information you send via forms must be accurate to the best of your knowledge and must not include unlawful, defamatory, or confidential third-party material you are not entitled to share. We may use submissions to respond and improve services as described in the Privacy Policy. For privacy-specific requests you may also email [email protected].
12. Acceptable use and moderation
We may investigate and take action (including blocking access, removing content you contributed if any interactive feature exists, or referring matters to authorities) if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or applicable law.
13. Changes to the Site and terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any feature. We may update these terms; the effective date will change. Material changes may be highlighted on the Site or via email where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
14. Termination
We may terminate or restrict your access immediately, without notice, for conduct we believe violates these terms or harms other users, us, or third parties. Provisions that by nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) will survive termination.
15. Export and sanctions
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to comprehensive embargoes or designated on applicable restricted-party lists in a manner that prohibits use of the Site.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction’s law, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country cannot be waived.
Subject to mandatory provisions: courts in Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from these terms or the Site, unless you are a consumer entitled to a different venue under non-waivable law. Before litigation, you agree to attempt good-faith resolution for at least thirty days by using the contact form or writing to [email protected].
If you are an EU/UK consumer, you may also have access to alternative dispute resolution or ODR platforms as offered in your country; this does not limit non-waivable rights.
17. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains enforceable. These terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement regarding the Site and supersede prior oral or written understandings on the same subject.
18. Contact
For questions about these Terms of Use: use the contact form on this website, or email [email protected]. We aim to respond to substantive enquiries within a reasonable time.
